A co-worker has had the same issue with his past 3 pair of Carhartt. I am highly disappointed and will no longer be purchasing from Carhartt. Three of the rips occurred after only 2 months of wear. Rips are right in the middle of the fabric. These are 6 to 8 inch rips in the butt or front of the pant not at a seam, or pocket or stitching. In the past two years, 8 of the 10 pairs of the double knee dungarees have ripped. I am hard on my clothes and this used to be the only brand to stand up to the abuse. Ripped I have been a long time Carhartt wearer. Was this review helpful? Yes / No 10 of 24 people found this review helpful. They sure don't hold up like they used to. Quality is pretty poor I've been wearing these work pants for over 15 years and have seen a steady decline in the quality of the material. Was this review helpful? THE BEST WORK PANTS I was crushed to find my local farm & barn store stopped carrying these.
